Blanched is a company specialized in digital recruitment, connecting workers and restaurants through an automated matching system. By registering on the platform or using the services, Users confirm that they agree with this Policy.

Blanched collects personal information necessary to provide its services, including:
Name, email address, phone number, and physical address;
Personal photo (when provided by the user);
Professional data, including desired position, experience, skills, and certifications;
Curriculum vitae and professional history;

User activity on the platform, such as interactions with restaurant profiles and expressions of interest;
Additional information obtained from public and private sources, such as social networks, when applicable and permitted by law.
Blanched does not collect sensitive data without the user’s explicit consent.

Automated matching between restaurants and workers, based on users’ preferences and characteristics;
Provision of recruitment services, ensuring that restaurants receive recommendations of candidates suited to their desired profile;
Account management and user support, including communications related to platform operations;
Continuous improvement of the platform, based on aggregated data analysis of user interactions and preferences;
Compliance with legal obligations, including security, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements.
Worker data is not publicly visible. Worker information is only made available to restaurants that submit hiring requests and within the limits defined by the system.
4. STORAGE AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Blanched adopts technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of stored data, including:
Servers located in the European Union, subject to appropriate security standards;
Restricted access to sensitive data;
Access monitoring and protection against cyber threats.
Although strict measures are taken to protect data, no system is completely impenetrable. In the event of a security breach, Blanched is committed to notifying affected users in accordance with applicable law.
5. USERS’ RIGHTS
Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:
Right of access: Request a copy of stored data;
Right of rectification: Correct incorrect or outdated information;
Right to erasure: Request the deletion of personal data, unless retention is required for legal reasons;

Worker data is retained for up to 12 months after the last activity on the platform. After this period, the profile may be deleted or anonymized.
Restaurant data is retained as long as there is an active subscription and for up to 5 years for legal and administrative purposes.
Data retained for legal purposes may be stored for longer periods as required by law.
7. DATA SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES
Blanched does not share users' personal information with third parties, except:
When necessary for the provision of contracted services (e.g., integration with payment platforms);
When required by law or regulatory authorities;
When the user gives explicit consent for data sharing with third parties.

Blanched reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy whenever necessary. Any changes will be communicated through the platform and will take effect on the specified date. Users are advised to review this Policy regularly to stay informed.
